It’s 2014 and we’ve been living in Valley Cottage for about eight months and are well and truly settled.
So it’s about time to put some of the ‘ta-daaaa!’ pics up. We’re so very lucky and now it’s summer getting to share with visitors who are adventurous enough for a little trek to the country.
in the evening, our rammed earth home glows in the lights and looks so welcoming.
It opens onto the gallery but is a little cosy-den, and perfect for reading & snoozing – as well as being the best home office I’ve ever had,
A ‘kingfisher’ blue feature wall and windows looking north and east (my favorite view).
The texture and look of each wall is a little different – but they all share solidity and a sense of permanence, not to mention making a great backdrop for some of our art.
Rather telling that the dogs’ bean-bags dominate this view… fair to say they’ve settled in quite well!
